From live bands to lively demonstrations like fly fishing, belly dancing and bagpipes, the Bridge celebrations continued Saturday, Aug. 4.  In addition to the merchants, eateries, music and activities on the bridge, the riverfront and North Shore were hopping with a sidewalk sale, storytelling, more music and Dragon Boat races and festival.  The celebration also included a vintage scooter show at Renaissance Park. 

Events focused on the re-opening of the Market Street Bridge got off to a festive start when Mountain States Contractors hosted a "casual" gala for those involved with the reconstruction and those sponsoring the weekend schedule of activities.

For the first time in many years, Brainerd now has a Burger King! Hometown Folks, LLC celebrated its grand opening this morning with the help of WGOW Talk Radio 102.3. 

Business and community leaders gathered at Table 2 Grill and Lounge to celebrate the completion of the U.S. Airways Magazine profile on Chattanooga.
