Sesquicentennial Celebration Starts on Lookout Mountain |

On July 4, 1857, the founders of The University of the South first met atop Lookout Mountain, Tenn. On the Fourth of July, 150 years later, alumni, friends, administrators, and clergy returned to Lookout Mountain to kick off the sesquicentennial celebration of the University's founding with a service at The Church of the Good Shepherd. |
