 Comcast sponsors "First Day" at the Zoo benefiting area school children
On Saturday, July 28, about 4,000 area residents got a free day at the zoo and a lot of goodies to help start out the school year. Ranging from book bags to pencils to free information, local businesses contributed a vast array of items for children to use in the upcoming school year. Lined up long before the gates opened at 10 am, the families were there to tour the zoo and visit the many booths available throughout the park. |
