Hamilton Plastics To Invest $12.5 Million |

  Chattanooga-based plastics manufacturer Hamilton Plastics is expanding its facility and adding employees.
At a ground-breaking ceremony November 13, 2006, company President Harshad Shah announced the first phase of the expansion will add 60,000 square feet to the company’s current facility as we as adding up to 25 new employees to its 135-person work force. Mr. Shah said the company is also considering a second expansion which would include more equipment and an additional building on the company’s Centre South Riverport location. That expansion would add another 30 to 40 employees.
Mr. Shah began Hamilton Plastics in 1986. The company makes food packaging bags and lamination film. |
