BCBST Breaks Ground On Cameron Hill Campus |

 BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee broke ground on its new campus on Cameron Hill in Chattanooga on August 25, 2006. The $300 million complex will house the corporate offices of Tennessee’s largest insurer... When construction is completed in early 2009, BCBST will move its nearly 3,900 Chattanooga-area employees to Cameron Hill.
The new Cameron Hill campus will feature five connected buildings designed to reach out to the city, totaling 950,000 square feet. Features of the new campus will include a wellness center for employees; a health institute, which will function as a think-tank or research center for health care related applications; and public spaces with vistas of downtown and the river, which represent a desire to stay connected with the city. |
