Friday, March 2nd, marks Arbor Day in Tennessee, and it was celebrated in Chattanooga’s Coolidge Park with the planting of two more trees.
Friday, March 2nd, marks Arbor Day in Tennessee, and it was celebrated in Chattanooga’s Coolidge Park with the planting of two more trees in the park’s Peace Grove. There are now seven trees in the grove. The two new trees represent two of Chattanooga’s sister cities.
As a part of the Arbor Day program, Chattanooga will be recognized as a Tree City USA community by the National Arbor Day Foundation and USDA Forest Service for the 17th consecutive year.
