 Mary Jenkins, East Ridge High School, shared the Hamilton County Department of Education’s Academy Model Wednesday, January 17, 2007, with members of the Chattanooga Technology Council...
Ms. Jenkins explained how the current model exists in some Hamilton County schools, how the academies are selected and the curriculum related to the academies. The academies are funded in part by a grant from the Carnegie Foundation and combine academic and career preparation for high school students.
