On October 22, 2006, 24 breast cancer survivors modeled the latest styles from the pages of fashion magazines and also shared their stories of who and what helped them “Turn the Page” on their breast cancer experience...
More than 400 people attended the annual fund-raiser, billed as “a celebration of the lives and recovery of area breast cancer survivors,” according to Lynda LeVan, executive director of the Chattanooga chapter of Y-ME. “Funds raised at our event support programs to ensure information, empowerment and peer support so that no one faces breast cancer alone,” she explained.
